Commemorative USGA pewter plate from the 2005 Walker Cup at Chicago Golf Club, the oldest 18-hole course in North America and one of the five founding clubs of the USGA. Made by Wilton Armetale in shallow relief, 10¾ inches, in its original box with the official USGA sticker.
The 40th Walker Cup went to the United States, 12.5 to 11.5, under Bob Lewis. His side included Anthony Kim, J.B. Holmes and Brian Harman, the 2023 Open Champion. Great Britain & Ireland, under Garth McGimpsey, fielded Oliver Fisher at 16, then the youngest player in Walker Cup history.
